Many great poets and authors like Jhaverchand Meghani, Ambalal Purani, Mahadevbhai Desai etc. stayed here. It is believed that one of the famous article by Jhaverchand Meghani (Jer to pidha jani jani) was written in Nadiad.

I was in Nadiad till 1998. right now, my parents and many friends are staying in Nadiad. I love Nadiad too much....it is different city than others....fun, enjoyment, jay maharaj - all you can find in nadiad. All festivals you can enjoy here. Yes, city needs to be clean, lack of civilization, traffic sense needs to be improved.
