Somersetshire Buildings was built in 1782 by Thomas Baldwin on the site of the old poor house and comprises of six houses numbered 37 to 42 inclusive. The end houses project beyond the line of adjacent buildings,the bowed central section is a full height feature.
This terrace of six townhouses is grade I. listed monument.
