  Banteay Kdei is one of those sprawling Angkor ruin. It is aligned east-west. You enter from the east (across from the Srah Srang man-made reservoir), and emerge at the west end. At both ends, and at the north and south sides, there are entrances topped with a gopura (tower with stone faces).
