A small island off the northern coast of Douglas Island (near Juneau) in Southeast Alaska. At a very low tide a land bridge extends from the beach at the cove just south of Outer Point to Shaman Island. The island's steep rocky shores quickly rise from sea level to ~40 ft. Despite dense stands of hemlock and spruce, there are great views of the Mendenhall glacier and the island's canopy is comonly used by bald eagles.
