The Village of Bratenahl, incorporated in 1905, began with summer homes for Cleveland's wealthiest industrialists. Many period mansions still stand, but Bratenahl now includes upscale housing, apartments, condominiums, private clubs and a private marina. Fewer than 1,500 people live in the village today. With the Cleveland Memorial Shoreway (I-90) just seconds away, the heart of downtown Cleveland is just minutes away.
