Today, this hinterland barangay can be reached by a paved Asphalt Paved Road traversing from Dumanjug to Sibonga. A Parish Barangay with chapels comprising the barangay of Lamak, Pawa, Manlapay, Tubod-duguan, Matalao,Kanghalo,Papan(Sibonga), etc.

Commercial area where you can buy food, drinks, few construction materials,livestock.Habalhabal is the means of public transport while cars, luxurious pickups, multicabs, trucks are conveyance of well off residents. A complete elementary school is available and a public High School as well.

Economy of people of Bulak is very much different from that of 5 decades away where only autobus and Encarnacion Trans are the means of transportation while nowadays almost every household have cars or motorcycles. Many residents are working abroad, overseas, in the cities of Manila and Cebu and some married a foreigner that adds their financial.
