    Ideal forest to observe mixed forest and diverse wild life . I have in last 25 years seen all local species of animals availabl on Central Indian Highlands including the Great Indian Tiger.Though tigerb sightins are rare but they do roam the forests as is evident from fresh pug marks and scat all over the place. Indian wild dog (Dhol)herds can be seen in action. In my view the best and most diverse park in India.

    As Jagdish the boatman ferries you across the river Denwa,you will see scores of crocs basking in the sun on the river bank.On the other side is the enchanting forest of Madhai where you would be greeted by black bucks the moment you step in.It is heaven on earth. On this side of the river,the lovely cottages of Shri S.P.Dubey privides for a perfect weekend retreat away from civilization.
