Municipality of South Bruce, Bruce County, Ontario. The Municipality was formed through a two-step merger: in 1998, the Township of Culross merged with the Village of Teeswater to form the Township of Teeswater-Culross, while the Village of Mildmay merged with the Township of Carrick to become the Township of Mildmay-Carrick. This was short-lived, however, as both Townships were merged together into the Municipality of South Bruce, with Teeswater as the municipal seat.

Before all of this merging and amalgamating, the Township of Culross lied west of Bruce County Road \12/, and Township of Carrick lied to the east of County Road 12.
