This reclamation is the main reason why Bath Island Area gets flooded in the monsoon. It was the outlet of storm water drains from the city which has now been choked, thanks to KPT's farsightedness. it has also blocked the flow of sea water to the mangroves which are now slowly dying. The little 30' channel they have provided is insufficient and at least a 300' wide channel is required.
