mountain, summit
The summit from Windy Pass (where the road from the Hyak Ski Area crosses the Pacific Crest Trail) is a six mile hike. The PCT is often muddy and has a trail elevation gain of 2,100 feet, most of which is after you leave the PCT and head up to the saddle to the South of the peak itself, and then more as you approach the summit. The views from the top offer a complete 360 view of the Central Cascades.
