Long Beach is a city in Nassau County, NY. It received its charter in 1922. Primarily a suburban community with a popular beach and boardwalk, Long Beach is accessible from New York City by Long Island Railroad and is a common weekend destination due to an active bar scene. On the west end you'll find many summer rentals and a younger crowd.
