Fishing village on northern coast of Gozo, where brightly painted boats can be seen in the bay. Not too long ago, one could be in a restaurant during the evening and all the lights in town (if not the island) would go out (as consumption of electricity in the three islands outstripped production capacity). This was fine with romantically-minded dining couples, as candles were then lit (deisel generators taking care of refrigerators in the kitchens, and so on). Maybe they have that sorted now. Pity!
