This lake is pretty much the same as the nearby Rusovce lake. Just like Rusovce, it is a popular summer hang-out for local people. You can get there either on foot from the Rusovce village (30 minutes walk accross the woods, pleasant during the midday glare, nightmare once it gets dark, cause this is when the mosquitos strike) or (preferably) ride a bike from the city centre on the Danube Dam. The trick is, you have to know where to leave the dam (the lake cant be seen from the dam, ie. you can easily miss it. if you're new to the area, your safest be is leaving just before the Rusovce village, biking through the village itself and joining the walking crowd).

This lake is much more fun to swim, the water is deeper, usually cleaner (mainly in the small lake). However, swimming in the lake is at least theoretically illegal. I am not sure what is the situation now, yet in my old days, you could in theory end up paying a hefty fine.
