Mount Rainier National Park
Lowest elevation glacier in the U.S. Four mile trail leads from the campground to the glacier. Easily doable as a day hike. There is a cool bridge half way to the glacier. A suspension bridge a lot like the ones you see over huge chasms in South America. Wobbly but safe and fun. Just after the bridge the real elevation gain begins. The trail is washed out in several places but alternate routes are marked.
