One of the only private islands in the state of NJ. The house was initially a small Chadwick-styled bungalow, but was demolished and replaced with this 3-story mansion in 1992. The surrounding marshes on the small peninsula were removed to make room for the house, guest house, and several docks that now occupy the location. Middle Sedge Island, which consists of the house and 14 acres of the connecting marsh island, is currently for sale for 6.5 million dollars.
