Serpent's Trail

Old roadbed with extreme uphill grade. Bring your water.

Listed on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) for its transportation and recreational significance. The trail was constructed sporadically between 1912 and 1924. It was once longer, but construction of Rim Rock Drive destroyed portions of it. Today, 1.6 miles still exist as a hiking trail.
