A comprehensive, 4-year, public high school serving parts of Buffalo Grove, Wheeling, Prospect Heights, Mount Prospect, Arlington Heights, and Northbrook. In addition to regular high school academics, AP courses, and honors classes, it also has a STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) program. The school first opened in 1964, and the graduated its first class in 1966. The school colors are blue, gold, and white and the mascot is Willie the Wildcat. It offers 25 different sports.
