Sala Silver Mine is one of the best preserved mining environments in the world. During the heyday of production, the mine produced more than three tons of silver every year. The extraction was done entirely by hand. Experienced guides can take you on a tour of the spectacular underground chambers and explain to you more about the fascinating history of the place. The mine lies on the southern outskirts of Sala. The mine has been developed into a venue for conferences and adventure activities, including cave diving.
