Pump House (Uppsala)

The Pump House is a museum of local public works. Here you can learn about how the city has been supplied with served in such areas as gas and electricity supply, sewage and water supply from the early nineteenth century to the present day. The museum is housed in the former municipal waterworks of Uppsala. This building, designed by Adrian Crispin Peterson, was erected in 1875. It still retains much of the original technical equipment, which forms part of the exhibits.
