This is a colony for the people and the families of the army at Jodhpur. A nice residential location with a big sports complex, parks etc.... The sports complex is one of the attractive features which includes a squash court (renovated) , a basketball court, a half-basketball court, a street football gorund , a beautiful park, a tennis court (it is always full), 4 badminton courts (most empty), a cricket pitch, a tennis practice wall and finally a skating ring as well. Most of the children are seen playing football or basketball in the evenings after all they are the worlds best sports. Thats it.

1. We got a shooting range now in SS (though still non-functional).
2. A gymnasium is under construction.

  • hmmm...nice description of this place..now lemme tell u the truth 1.the baskets on the court are of unequal heights and the rings are are bent down 2.out of 4 only 2 baddy courts r in funtion 3.kids don't get to play tennis n sqaush coz oldies(old officers) always come n play n dont let the kids play :( 4.the half basketball court is being ruined by lil kids as no one plays ball on it as the basket pole is at angle tilted back 5.OUR FOOTBALL GROUND WAS RUINED BCOZ OF THE CONSTRUCTION OF THIS STUPID HALF COURT N THE 2 NON-FUNCTIONAL BADDY COURTS!!!!
  • The basketball game is still bad due to bad conditions of the boards and rings. Yet, we play. Lets hope the Shooting range has something good. :) Hey Anshuman, I miss those days, when we played football on the basketball court with Gaurav, Shiraz, Arjun n us. Awesome game and loads of fun. Not to forget Thappa and Nishant ;)
  • Is it open for civilians? Is the shooting range now operational?
