St. Mary Without the Walls (Chester)

United Kingdom / England / Chester / Handbridge

The church was built between 1885 and 1887 to a design by F. B. Wade for the first Duke of Westminster. He decided to build a new church because the old church was on the other side of the river and the Duke was tired of traveling across. So St Mary’s Parish church was moved nearer to the Duke of Westminster.
