Housed on the premises of an old bobbin factory, the Kaukas Factory Museum is situated in Lappeenranta on the Kaukas industrial estate. The museum is owned by the Finnish paper-making giant UPM-Kymmene Ltd, and was opened to the public during 1998, when the Kaukas factories were celebrating their 125th anniversary.
