"Suvara Sasilor Natural Rezervation" covers a botanical area of ​​20 hectares on the terrace of 430 m altitude in the Sadu River near the town Talmaciu. This dominance of a species of grass, Molinia coerulea, also known under the name "Suvari" gave the generic name of the space previously held by the Saxons. Within this reserve vegetate rare flower species, relict Molineta biocoenosis here is unique in Transylvanian space. Evolution biocenosis was made on brown podzolic soils, gleyed, acid and saturated with water, especially in spring. The explanation of this here and osier (Salix cinerea), alder (Alnus glutinosa), birch (Betula pendula), which forms large clumps.
Some species of flowering plants, the most representative are: daffodils (Narcissus stellaris), gladiolele (Gladiolus imbricatus) stânjeneii (Iris sibirica), crocuses (Crocus banaticus) gentianele (Gentiana pneumonanthe), orchids (Orchis laxiflora, Orchis Orchis incarnata and transsilvanica), pork dill (Peucedanum rochelianum)
