Second World War 1939-1945, ruins, bunker, interesting place
Ruins of a WWII-era German Mammut V143 radar installation.
There were only four type V143 Mammut radars built. With an effective range of 300km, this radar was used to detect shipping and provide range data for the guns once located on either side of it. Although the radar and associated equipment are long gone, the bunker is still accessible.
