lake, interesting place
Semi-Man Made lake along the Peconic River. Although naturally occurring, the water levels rose when the man made dam and waterfall on the eastern end was built. A large duck farm was once located on the northern and southern shores on the very western end. The water was shallow enough for the ducks to walk across to man made wading pools on the southern shoreline, all of which is still there today.
