park, recreation area / ground, playground, cricket field, football - soccer field
Paul's Land is a 30 acre site containing playing fields, football and cricket pitches. The name comes from the Paul family who bequeathed the land to the town council to be preserved as recreational space. The area also contains a children's park as well as a wooded and hilly area known locally as The Dell. The Dell roughly outlines the site and works of the old Attleborough stone quarry that was on the site before Paul's Land existed as a recreational area. Some of the earth from the Dell was also used on other parts of the land to create the flat playing surfaces.
Facilities include 6 football pitches, 1 cricket pitch and a pavilion with changing rooms and toilets.
