GMA Network Inc. opens another complex on October 17, 2008, the GMA Network Studios. It stands on a 4,308 square meters land area and houses two high-definition studios, the Studio 6 and 7; costs PhP1 billion and, to date, it is the most technologically advanced facility in the Philippines. It is located at the corner of Epifanio delos Santos Avenue and GMA Network Drive in Quezon City. The complex has the capability to accommodate 1,000 audiences simultaneously. It has the modern equipment for audio systems, lighting and video designs. The new complex houses Studio 6 with an area of 638 square meters, were most GMA Network’s live and taped broadcast happens and Studio 7, which has an area of 1,020 square meters and can accommodate 600 audiences during live programs. Both studios are equipped with Digital Speaker Management system that standardize digital feedback elimination, ensuring accurate sound quality and allows studio-to-studio link for multistudio audio communication and also equipped with digital video design. Meanwhile, Studio 7 is the first broadcast facility in the Philippines equipped with Vision QMD/production switcher, capable of 96 video inputs for its cameras, VTRs, special effects, chargens and other video sources.
