The Studio, opened in spring 1997, is the Park District's center for visual arts, offering classes for youngsters age 2½ through adult. The Studio sits on a half-acre site adjacent to Melas Park. The building formerly housed The Pop Shop and was purchased by Mt. Prospect Park District in 1994.
