mound, scheduled ancient monument
Giant's Graves is the name of three pillow mounds which are 10 to 12 metres long, 4.2 metres wide and 0.5 metres high. Pillow mounds are man-made rabbit warrens which were built to make catching rabbits easier. The date of these mounds is unknown, but generally pillow mounds were used from the 12th century right up to the 20th century.
