Crocodile River Mine - Maroelabult Decline

Maroelabult Division comprises two declines, one of which is equipped with a conveyor belt to transport rock from underground. Stoping is conventional with trackless loading of ore onto conveyors which transport the ore to surface. Production is currently being built up to a steady state of 40 000 tonnes a month by December 2006.
