Transition point in the Cherry Creek Trail. To the west, the trail runs in the concrete "canyon" of Cherry Creek as it heads toward Confluence Park. To the east, the trail intially follows the south sidewalk of First Avenue before turning briefly south at University, crossing underneath, and becoming a stand-alone trail again.
