This is a very old village in Barbhag area of Nalbari District in Assam(India).People of different caste and religion leave here , hence the name Sanekuchi ( Habitate of mixed people).The approximate population of the village is 1500 as on January,2011. The village is having 2 Nos. of Mandirs, 2 Nos. of Namghars and one Masjid. Main titles used by people are Sarma, Choudhury, Kalita, Das, Deka, Lahkar, Hazarika, Namasudra, Barman etc. The village is having One Post Office ( PIN-781350), one Public Health Center, A number of shops. The main occupation of the people are agriculture. Some service holders , businessman and fisherman are also there. The village has so far produced 4 doctors, 2 Engineers , 5 college lecturers and a great number of central and state Govt. Officers and officials.
