Hanging-suspension steel bridge built by David Rowell of Westminster in 1939, to replace the ferry crossed The Cut here.
This ornate footbridge spaning River Avon between Cumberland Road, Spike Island and Coronation Road, Southville is also a good viewpoint from which to see the most spectacular section of the New Cut.
