St Joseph's High School, St Patrick's College Seminary (later renamed, St Joseph Seminary College) complex of buildings and sports fields once stood in this general area. The actual building site is now a residential area as seen east of Permanente Creek which had a path with the Way of the Cross (14 Stations of the Cross). The seminary closed after it was heavily damaged in the 1989 Loma Prieta earthquake. A stone and plaque mark the site. You can see the original buildings in Google Earth by selecting the historical imagery button in the toolbar. You can also find some photos in the link below to Phil Murphy's photos.
