Grade II Listed (UK), roving bridge
Carrying the Gargrave to Marton road over the Leeds and Liverpool Canal, Priest Holme Bridge was built in approximately 1790 by the engineer Robert Whitworth. This is a changeline bridge, sometimes called a turnover bridge, where the horses towing the canal boats could cross over to the other side of the canal without being unhitched.
