  The best football team every year. Good hockey team after 1960. The worst place to study. Now it is no more. Rest in Peace C B High School. Headmasters: Sh Laxmi Gupta, Sh K K Gupta, Sh Prabodh Chander Great Teachers: Sh Laxman Swarup (of Ambala City) (the best), Sh Tara Chand (moved to S D college), Sh Pritam Singh (what a great person), Shri Sardari Lal Bhatia (extremely helpful retd 1960), Sh P C Bhatia (misfit in a shool, should have been in a college), Shri K K Gupta (all rounder), Pt Krishan Chander Shastri, Pt Baru Ram Shastri, Pt Shiv Kumar Sharma, Sh Rameshwar Chander (Science and English, good but very greedy. Known as Tuition Chander), Sh Pyare Lal (Drawing) Sh Champat Singh, Sh Sohan Lal (retd 1960), Pt Hari Dutt (Retd 1961), Shri Ganpat Rai (moved to S D College) There were some absolutely third rate teachers who took pride in not teaching at all: Sh Hazara Singh (Nirmal Singh MLA's father) come to the classroom to sleep or read newspaper, never ever taught. Sh Sarab Dyal (thought he was a genius, what a pity), Sh Deep Chand (specialized in beating children mercilessly), Sh Prabodh Chander (very incompetent Science teacher, another Tuition Chander), ShShanti Swarup (good man but very poor English at least one mistake per sentence)
