Shettihally Bridge

This bridge was built in the backwaters of the Hemavathi Reservoir over the Yagachi river. Just after this bridge, the Yagachi river and the Hemavathi join together to form the Hemavathi reservoir. From here, the river is known as the Hemavathi River. This river joins the Cauvery river at Krishna Raja Sagar Dam near Mysore.

There is an older bridge next to this one which is submerged during heavy inflow of water. When the water level is low, only cattle and people can use this bridge.
