Home to the R. Wayne Estopinal College of Architecture and Planning (CAP), CAP is the only state-supported architecture program in Indiana and one of 157 accredited architecture programs in the U.S. by the National Architectural Accrediting Board (NAAB). CAP: Indianapolis Center, an urban laboratory in Downtown Indy, houses the Master of Urban Design (MUD) program.

CAP has earned a national reputation for its educational, research, and public service programs.

The Architecture Building also includes the Architecture Library, Andrew R. Seager Archives of the Indiana Built Environment, and the Center for Energy Research/Education/Service (CERES).
