Pretty similar to dozens of other rural cemeteries in the area, with the exception of the 20-foot monolith grave marker belonging to William and Mary Western on the south side of the cemetery, plainly visible in the imagery.

In a vandalism attack in April, 2012, dozens of gravestones and monuments were overturned or broken The widespread damage was discovered after a motorist drove over remnants of the gravestones.

Bartholomew County sheriff's Maj. Todd Noblitt tells The Republic that headstones placed from 1829 to 1912 have been damaged recently and about five of them were thrown into the street going past the cemetery.
