"A pleasant community park! There are many historical features within the park. For the fisherman, there is a boat launch, river bank fishing and quarry fishing. The park also has a brand new large playground, walking trails, horseshoe pits, and a sledding hill. There is a picnic pavilion and a fieldhouse that can be rented for family gatherings."

There is also a splash pad (a small water play area) for kids to play in during hot summer days.
