Årsunda Church is one of the best preserved medieval churches in the Gastrikland region. The inventory includes many items from the medieval period. There is an inscribed rune stone from the eleventh century, and a font made in the thirteenth. There are no less than three medieval crucifixes here, including a fourteenth century processional image. There are fine carvings of the Virgin Mary and St. Mary Magdalen. The altarpiece was made in Antwerp in 1510.
