  • I agree with you guys. Really this is a very wonderful village. In fact this is my native village. I was born and brought up here. Though I don't reside here yet all my childhood memories are linked up and here. Whenever I recollect my childhood, my parents, my family, my school friends and other people, I become very emotionnal and all scenes of past life become fresh. Whenerver I visit my younger brother Satish Kumar and his family, I am again lost in the nostalgia. Though my parents are no more and my old friends settled in their lives somewhere else yet I feel a sense of satisfaction to see a place where I spent beautiful part of my life. Indeed this is wonderful and beatiful and a developed village. I wish all the best to my old friends and all the residents of this nice place. • With my nostalgic comments given above, I would urge all of you to continue to praise our village, the village which I have seen from dusty lanes to concrete lanes. From small primary school to high school to have power sub-station and what not(since I am not up-dated to its progress). During my short visit recently I found it with enhanced infrasture, Railway Station(which used to be our childhood dream to see a rail rolling on our village soil)and having high way passing through it. In case my old friends happen to read my comments, they are requested to be in touch with me. With best wishes to all, Rajinder Singh
  • Dear all, Please keep on sharing your comments on the progress of Machhrauli in order to keep up-dated others like me. With best wishes, Rajinder Singh Consul Consulate General of India Atlanta(USA)
  • Hi ! Rajender, your update is 2 years old, I WONDER you will be active or this site or given up. Do you remember a mohalla called Samtan, I belong to that part of village. Have been around the world, yet childhood village memories like our primary school, khukhrana johad, debi wali and many other spots remain fresh where I spent prime time of my innosence and childhood. It is rightly said, "janani janmbhumisch, swargadapi gariyasi". ---Mahesh Sharma
  • Dear Mahesh, I still remember everything. However, due to my preoccupation with other matters could not post more. Also I did not find comments from my childhood friends, therefore, could not be encouraged to write more. Now if you keep me updated, I would be more active to post my comments. i may add that I have the honour to be first student who passed the Matriculation Examination in 1971 with First Division from then Govt. High School, Machhrauli (Rohtak).
  • Hi Mahesh. I am pleased to see your comments. Please keep me updated with the developments taking place in the village. During our time it was not so developed like today, however, it has always been better than other villages in its vicinity. Even today I recollect my childhood nostalgia.
