In 1992, Shree Jayarama Heggade made a trip to the famous Aadi Shakthyathmaka Annapoorneshwari Temple in Horanadu on a particularly auspicious day. In a moment of joy during a Darshan of the Goddess, Shree Heggade first conceptualized the idea of creating a shrine to this Goddess close to his family home in Kodyadka. Inspiration from the Goddess and Shree Heggade’s missionary zeal then sparked a 5 year journey that culminated in the creation of Shree Devi Annapoorneshwari Temple at Hosanadu Kodyadka.
