Valea Cetatii Cave is one of the newest and most modern caves developed for turism in Romania. The official inauguration was held in late 2010.

Access:
> on the National Road no. 1E (DN 1E) either coming from Râșnov, or from Brașov through Poiana Brașov;

Access road quality:
> recently asphalted national road and well kept;
> dangers: a series of dangerous curves with limited visibility, reduce your speed!

Other useful information:
> timetable: 10:00-18:00 (daily)*;
> price: 10 Lei = ~2,4 Euros = ~3,3 US Dolars (for adults), 5 Lei = ~1,2 Euros = 1,65 US Dolars (for children), no pupil/student deductions**;
> parking space at the entrance to the path leading to the cave;
> access path (between the cave and National Road no. 1E): renovated, gravel, with stairs and wooden raillings;
> distance (between the parking lot on National Road no. 1E and the cave): 1,5 km = ~0,90 miles***;

* I can not be 100% sure about the timetable being the same every day. 10:00-18:00 was written on the information billboard in the parking lot.
** I did not see anywhere stated anything about pupil/student deductions from the admission price. Better ask for yourselfs! Also the pricings in Euro and US Dolars were Google estimates on 05-03-2011, but I find them to be generally aplicable.
*** According to data from the information buillboard in the parking lot.
