    1 of d most or i shud se the only fav. school of d islands.. where life was not jus muggin theories n events.. or goin thru silly eqns but far ,far more fun. we had all time masti there with d best of faculties..u cant get ne were. specially ar princi. mrs.veene parekh..school's damn gud in evry aspect. so u present batchees us njoe d life over dere..n dont forget 2 bunk classes as we did. lol

    Yahooooo.....this is the word which comes out, when I remember my school. What fun It was........full day enjoyment and no tension, Teachers say we (10th 2000 batch, specially 10th 'C') was the naughtiest batch of all time, bombing girl's desks in front of teacher, bunking of class by whole class, and lots of fun.....As I was the captain of School football team, I cherish every liberty given to me by our favourite Boon sir. He is everyone's favourite.........hai na...........

    Please join - Model School Port Blair Alumni- on Facebook ! I passed out in 1980. Our's was the 2nd batch of 10+2 system. Mr Habib sir used to be our Principal. We were lucky to have exceptionally good teachers ! Our school was situated near TTI and Boys higher sec school and next to Mountbatten theater which has disappeared now. Later, after our Final exams in 1980, the school was relocated to Kendriya Vidyalaya's old building in front of Annapurna Cafeteria on the raod leading to Aberdeen bazar. During my last visit to PB (after 21 Years) in May,2007, I visited the school but was not fortunate enough to meet the then Principal Mrs Veena Pareikh, who used to be our English teacher those days. Hope through this group, I will come across many more friends, present and ex-students of Model school who would take us back in time to olden golden memory lanes !!
