Bagduri is a village which is located about 0.5 km from Bagduri cross,about 1.5 km from Mudbi and about 18 km from Basawakalyan in Bidar district of Karnataka state in India.Post Independent this village comes under Nizam Rule of Hyderabad State. The name Bagduri is derived from two words namely 'baag' means tiger in Urdu language and 'dhari' means land. Hence, Bagduri was once upon a time land of tigers. Thanks to government of Karnataka which through its social forestry project brougt back the greenery, animals and birds but unfortunately not the tigers as the name stands for. Bagduri is famous for goddess Yellama worshipped by the poeople around in a big number. The location of diety yellmma is in the rocky and hilly area and there is a natural spring which never dries even during the drought. People consider the spring water as holy and carry to their home. It is s worth seeing place and one must visit it. There is also Ram ling nearby. natural spring is also there.
