Around midway on the wayside along Selasar Rokam 11 ia a very popular cendol vendor MYDIN CENDOL. The best cendol you can taste for miles around. Its on your right as you turn into Selasar Rokam 11 from Jalan Gunung Rapat.

Visited from UK and really enjoyed the cendol. Very, very charming and friendly lady helped out by her sons.

The corner coffee shop adjacent to Selasar Rokam 14 does decent breakfast fare. 2 decent noodle stalls, a pow stall, yue char kwai made on the spot etc.

If in no hurry, my favourite would be a short bus or car ride to Restaurant Hong Lok in downtown Gunung Rapat market. Good hawker fare congregated within the coffee shop.
