In 1967 Kuwait Art Association was founded with response to the desire inherent in the hearts of artists to create a movement of contemporary art, Through decades, Kuwait Art Association had many accomplishments at all levels and has a major role in the renaissance art in the region. Especially after a period of liberalization in the nineties, year 2004 was a historic turning point in developing technical and aesthetical studies and the strategies of management are developed commensurate with the new century. This led to a renaissance of plastic art and uplifted the work of art to a new level of concept with providing access to the means of technology to revolutionize the art in production and quality.
