In 1479, thanks to a special intervention of King Louis XI, Admiral de Graville, Lord of Milly, obtained the right to build this market and to hold 3 fairs per year and a market every week. The covered market is situated north-south and is 46 meters long, 16 meters wide and 13 meters high. It covers a total surface of 730 meters.
