This colony is carved out of Rathpur colony. The residents of this Colony living in houses Nos: 1100-1200 and 1475-1510 of Pinjaur Municipality have joined together to form a Residents' Welfare Society named 'Shivalik View Residents Welfare Society. The Society, besides looking to the problems of the residents, also organizes social functions. Recently, Lohri Festival was celebrated here on 13th January, 2011. The Welfare Society presently comprises of 36 families with its office at 1501/B-1 near Balaji Roller Flour Mill, Rathpur Colony.
